Dr. Stephani Dunk BSC, DC
Dr. Dunk is the owner of Activate Chiropractic & Wellness Clinic and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She is one of a few specialists in Ottawa that practice a gentle chiropractic technique called the Activator Method. Her family-based practice regularly sees pregnant patients and children as well as adults wanting to continue to experience good physical health with age. Dr. Dunk grew up in a small rural community outside of Ottawa. She received a bachelors in Anatomy at McGill and graduated in the class of 1994 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Dunk has many other passions and interests in health and well being. She is an avid hiker, cyclist and runner but most of all, in the last few years, she has become more involved in yoga. She has studied many different styles of yoga and is certified to teach yoga at all levels. She's also a regular practitioner of meditation---the original form of yoga.
Dr. Dunk has been in practice for over 20 years and is still excited to provide a multi-disciplinary clinic where several practitioners can provide care that is tailored to each persons' needs.

Jennifer Pike,MA, Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN)
Sheron Albert, Chiropractic Assistant
Jennifer Pike (MA, RHN, Yoga Teacher) is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Yoga Teacher, and Wellness Lifestyle Coach who empowers clients to take charge of their own health so they can live their best life.
As a Holistic Nutritionist, Jennifer looks for the root cause behind the symptoms her clients are experiencing. She carefully analyzes her client’s diet to identify nutrient excesses and deficiencies which may be contributing factors. Whole foods are the foundation of Jennifer's wellness plans (meaning food which is as close to its natural state as possible. This excludes highly processed, packaged food). Simple, anti-inflammatory foods are also integrated, because we each have varying degrees of inflammation in our bodies, which is invisible, yet it manifests itself in different ways and can wreak havoc on our health. Jennifer also educates her clients on lifestyle factors which create certain imbalances in the body, and what to do about it. Jennifer can help you achieve your health goals, naturally and without unwanted side effects. Please refer to the "Nutritional Consulting" section for more details.
Outside of coaching clients on the relationship between food and their health issues, Jennifer enjoys teaching yoga classes, traveling whenever and wherever she can, spending time with family and her very spoiled goldendoodle, Niko, and staying active. Her favourite summer sport is tennis, while snow-shoeing is her chosen winter pastime.
Sheron is the glue that holds our office together. In all the years that she's been a part of this team, we haven't seen Sheron once without a smile and hug ready for those who need one. Our patients frequently remark on how friendly, sincere and willing she is to go above and beyond to make sure others feel safe in the office environment. Sheron has many hobbies outside of the office. She is a champion at counted cross stitch and knitting. One of her masterpieces is displayed in the reception area in our office. She also loves taking care of her health through regular walking and by moving her hips in Zumba for Baby Boomers.
Over the years Sheron has created a clinic environment that has allowed our health providers to focus on giving their best care. As a team, we are grateful to have such a joyful personality greet our patients.
