Mark Rofail

     M.OMSc

Mark is a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and is an active member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association (OSTCAN). Prior to studying osteopathy, Mark trained in pharmacology in the United States and England. During this time, Mark was in a minor car accident which caused him to seek treatment from an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. The experience showed him the ability of his body’s own self-healing mechanism and as a result, Mark shifted his career path from pharmacology to osteopathy.

Mark believes in the Osteopathic principles in treating the body; to treat the body as a dynamic unit of function, that the body is self-healing and self-regulating, and that structure and function are interrelated. As a child, Mark met with specialists for his club foot, never feeling that the root cause was being addressed. This experience has made him committed to helping his clients by starting with the root cause of their health concerns, and letting them discover their body’s self-healing capabilities

Mark enjoys treating clients of all ages with a keen interest in infants, pregnancies, and athletes. When not working with clients, Mark enjoys playing basketball, soccer, taking walks with his dog Miles, and cooking.
